- Information about making and receiving an order.
Do you sell wholesale? Yes, if you’re buying a large amount of the same product then we will give a discount. Please contact us (at the top) with what you are looking at and we see what we can do for you.
Are you willing to get more stock in? I am ordering new colours and products in all the time so please do not hesitate to ask.
You do not list what I need, can you get it? We’ll certainly try! Please contact us with what you want and how much and we will have a look to see if we can get it for you.
How long does postage and handling take? Depending where you are in Australia, it can take up to a week to get to you.
If you are overseas it can take 3-4 weeks
how do I remove an item from my basket? Click on the check link at the bottom of the basket. At the top you can update and change the numbers then click the update button to the right on the same line.
To remove an item click on the trash can icon for the line on the check out page
How do I add items to my cart? When you browse the products, click on the box with the 1 in it and change it to the quantity that you wish to add to your basket. Then click the “add” button.

Products
Delica beads: Why are some of the gold and silver beads so expensive? There are several metallic coated Delicas beads that cost a whole lot more than any of the other colors. On these beads, the glass has been coated with actual precious metal by a method that makes them very durable and they come in a variety of metal types such as 24K yellow gold, silver, 24K white gold, and palladium. This is the reason why we will sell them in 2.5 gram lots to help reduce the price for you.
Delica beads: Do the bead colours come/wash off? Some colours do others do not. The ones that do are in the galvanised range, dyed range & plated range. If you come across any of these please be warned that they do rub off/become tarnished.
Swarovski Beads: What threads would you recommend to use? I would advise that if you are going to use straight crystals then use fire-line. If you wish to use Nymo D thread then placing a seed bead on each side will help to protect the crystal from cutting the thread.

User Accounts
How can I remove my self from the mailing list? At the bottom of any emails sent via the mailing list there is an option there to remove your self from the list.
If you have an account and edit your details via the account information page, there is an option to say you want to be on the mailing list. Just un tick this.
Do I need to register before I order? Yes, you can fill up your basket with what you want. During the check out process you will either have to log in with an existing account or register a new account at this point.
Recovering your password If you can not remember your password, then on the login panel on the right column, there is a link called 'forgotten password'. Click on this and enter your email address. A new random password will be created for the account that is associated with the email address and this will be emailed to you.
Order History / User details At any time you can see what orders you have made and if payment has been recieved/order sent. To get this information you need to be logged in and click on “Account Details” in the top menu. From there you can either click on account information and update your details or be able to select an order to see the details about it.
Creating an account There are two places you can create an account. The first way is by clicking on the Register link on the Account login panel to the right. The second method is when you check out an order it will require to either login or create an account. When an account is created it will automatically log you in.
Do I need an account to order? Yes, to complete an order you need to create an account. The reason why need this is so we can record the order with an account. This lets you to easily come back and review your previous order at any time and any current order. When looking at a current order that has not been payed for it will also show that information to you. You can also see the state of the orders and allows you to keep your address in the system so you do not have to re-enter it ever time you make an order.
Logging in/out The login panel is located on the right of the screen, you can also log in when you check out. The Remember me tick box means that your browser will remember who you are so when you next visit this site then you will automatically be logged in. If you are using a public/shared computer then make sure this not ticked or manually log out when your finished.
To log out you need to go to the top menu and click logout

Shipping Rates & Charges Shipping rates are based off the weight of the parcel, destination and shipping method. This is automatically calculated on checkout.

How do I pay you? - Bank deposit

The preferred method of payment for Australian residence is bank deposit. This can be done via internet banking or over the counter.For international customers the best solution is pay pal. We do have a fee on pay pal. Any details you need for payment (eg BSB, address) will be given to you once you have finished the check out or when you view an existing order that still needs to payed.
Once payment has been recieved (with cheque when cleared) we will mark the order that payment has been recieved, and send out your order
Goods and Services Tax (GST) All items that we currently sell are except from GST.
How come you have a fee on using pay pal? Pay pal charges us to receive the payment, do keep the prices as good as they are we have to pass on this charge to you.
How much is the fee for using pay pal? The fee is $0.30 + 2.4% of the total order (including shipping)
Do you give a refund? Yes, after receiving the products back in their original packaging unopened. I am happy to either deposit the money back directly in to your bank account, or send the money via pay pal.
Note: the refund is for the products, not for postage and handling

Privacy policy Shelley’s Beading World is strongly committed to protecting your privacy while interacting with our content, products and services. Information is collected from you primarily to process your orders and will never be disclosed to a third party.
We collect two types of information. The first type is anonymous information. For instance, we may collect information to tell us that how many people visit this page today, but we do not know your names, where you live, etc - they are 'anonymous' to us. This information is collected for research purposes to better understand how people use our site and to server you better.
The second type of information we collect is personal information like name, email, shipping address. This is so we can process and send you products you buy. This is solely if you wish to provide this information. We will also record and keep records of previous sales so we can provide you a history of what you have previous bought.
Help
